RealFix connects you or your loved ones to medication or admission into treatment for opioid use disorder. RealFix is available to anyone who lives in Paterson, New Jersey, despite insurance, immigration status, or financial means.

RealFix services are available to everyone--- even if you don't have ID, legal status, health insurance, or a way to pay.

Opioid use disorder (OUD) is a complex illness characterized by compulsive use of opioid drugs even when the person wants to stop, or when using the drugs negatively affects the person’s physical and emotional well-being.

RealFix can coordinate medication delivery to clients or treatment for their substance use issues— including transportation to the program that they qualify for— in as little as 90 minutes.

RealFix can arrange delivery of Buprenorphine (Suboxone) or Buprenorphine-naloxone, which are the most commonly used prescriptions for Opioid Use Disorder.

No, you do not need insurance to access RealFix services. We will connect you with treatment whether or not you have insurance.

No, you do not need legal status. We serve RealFix clients equally, whether they have legal status or not. 

"MAT" stands for medication assisted treatment. MAT is an evidence-based approach that uses Buprenorphine (Suboxone) to treat individuals with opioid use disorder. Medication is offered in combination with counseling services.

We can help you find treatment if you have a dual diagnosis or other co-occurring complications, like a mental health diagnosis, a pet to care for, pregnancy, smoking addiction, no access to transportation, or legal issues. We specialize in connecting RealFix clients with the care that is best for them, based on their unique needs. We will work to pair you with the most appropriate care informed by your unique situation.
